Savable Customized Options
First off, I love this idea and this site.
As an active dreamer, I love the ability to accurately record what is going on within me. I also believe it would be fascinating to see the dream patterns around the world.
That been said, as an active/vivid dreamer it can take a lot to describe my dreams. Majority of the time, Pleasant, neutral, and unpleasant just won't do!
I am seeing that I can add option, yet notice that they do not save.
It would be a wonderful feature if the program saved my options and slowly learned from my input on how I like to describe my dreams.
People are way to creative and unique to be boxed into a set limit of descriptions. Give people more ability to customize and make "their dream journal" theirs. This will keep people like myself interested in using this programs.
In short, more independent customization and less predetermined smiley faces. Let us fill in the blanks.

I also love this site - AND - I love the exploration of naming and defining emotions so the 6 basics are a fine start, but the palette could be much richer.

I agree so much with what this person has said. I only have recorded three dreams so far so I didn't notice that the customized options weren't saved. It's really crucial. Additionally, I think there should be the option to sit down and put in your people places and things and they are there permanently. My son, my ex-husband, my boyfriend. They should be sitting in the journal someplace in a place where i have entered those who will often be on the stage of my dreams. And then when I begin to type them in, they show up as an auto fill.

I also really like this idea and site, and I also have very vivid dreams. Some of my dreams are what Jung would have called "big" dreams - so fully of detail, nuance, and emotion tone that they are highly significant and I remember them for years. I just joined this site, but I cannot possibly make use of it if the description options are not customizable.
