Create a Text Download of Entries
I am enjoying use of this site, but I sometimes get concerned about not having a back up of my data - also would like to have a hard copy.

Thank you all for your idea, we will take your suggestion in consideration for the future developments, the feedback of our users are very important for us

I also hope this is still being developed, and actually for this very reason. People still have dreams in 2019, so if dreamboard is on hiatus or shut down for any reason, having a backup would be the difference between saving or losing literally months worth of dreams, for every user on this site.

Is this still happening?
Is dream board still actively being developed? -

Yes please do this. We really would like an easy "export to .txt" or download button.

I actually view this suggestion as critical - I don't feel comfortable continuing to feed my dream data into this database (great though it may be!) without being able to obtain a local backup!

Totally a must-have feature! This could also be used to print out your own dream journal with all emotions, color, people etc. and then allow user to add fancy outlook, so one can have a paper version of his/her dream journal. It would be nice to have a back-up of dreams. Format could be a PDF or doc.

An export would also allow for full text search which I haven't found yet either in the regular interface.

I think I might try a screencap app from my cousin in the meantime.
The download function could essentially work like a screencap...

I love this site but this is a key feature that is missing. If we pour so much of ourselves into this application by entering our dreams here, it would be great to know that we really own the data. Any type of mass export or backup would be fine - it doesn't have to be anything fancy!

I agree. A Text or PDF backup (or any another type of mass-exporting, whatever's easier) would be cool.
