Dream-signs for people keeping a journal for lucid dreaming.
I just add them in my notes.
but maybe creating a system to allocate and collect your dream signs were there are pre configured ones and you just highlight the text and then add a dream-sign OR even more basically, creating another 'people ,places, things' panel for dream-signs where you pick the relevant dream sign and enter the corresponding text. (making it more automatic and intuitive)

Change "Emotions" to "Qualities"
Qualities could include emotions and/or also a feel such as "cinematic", "vivid", "surreal", "absurd", "chaotic", "violent," "shocking," etc.

ad picture to my dream description
Let's say I want to look back at my dreams for the past year. Chances are I wouldn't understand, remember, or maybe have same the feeling when I read them.
So, I think it would be more fun and a lot better if I can attach some pictures to the dream description. It helps me describe my dreams better and more accurate for further reading.
After all, we all want to look back at ours dream, try to understand ourselves, feel the feeling we had in the dream, and discover more about us, do we not?15 votesThank you for your suggestion, we will take it into consideration for the next developments of the application. "The Dream" summary section should be first
I think it's much easier to summarize or explain the dream first, and then, going by what you just wrote, pick out themes and colors and characters, because the summary is probably the most important part of the discovery process. Then the dreamer says, "oh, that was this color," or "that made me feel sad," and THEN decides it was because of this theme.

Allow/Promote creative dream journaling
I endorse the idea that sometimes it is wisest to record/explore a dream through other means than written story form, because the linear/narrative form sometimes forces a structure that does not originally belong to the dream. I know it is not easy to provide other recording means directly online (although... a possibility to roughly sketch with colors on a smartphone, or playing a few notes... would be great!) - anyway, it would be nice to be able to at least attach images or other media files to a journal entry.

I suggest you add a dream dictionary.
We should be able to add have our tags be searchable to an online dictionary that says what your dream might mean. I thought this was what this site was about in the first place. xD

Posibility of attaching pictures and/or ability to draw directly from the website/app/mobile site
Sometimes I tend to draw pictures along with an entry on my dream journal. Since it's an easier way to describe exactly what I was seeing, I would love the ability to attach a drawing or picture that accurately describes my dream or to be able to draw directly from the website, like a sort of canvas with tons of different colors and brushes so I can "see" the dream, as well as narrating it.

Let user upload an image
Give users the ability to upload a small image, photo, or illustration with dream entries. Sometimes I recall I had a dream but only vague images will come to me. An image may express more than words ever could.

Allow personalization of our dreamboards
The plain functionality of the dreamboard user interface is not unpleasant, but I believe personalization could create a more comfortable place for users to bare their secrets and express themselves more freely. I know I'm more likely to write longer more detailed entries in my own dream journals when I have one I like, one that is pretty or 'speaks' to me.

Allow users to customize time of notifications
I find the idea of sending reminders to track dreams useful, but it seems we can only 'Enable' or 'Disable' this notification. If I click on 'edit' thinking I can change what time I receive a notification (the default is 8:00 AM), it simply brings me back to choosing from 'Enable' or 'Disable' and will not let me change the time. The same thing also happens with 'adding further details' notifications, which by default is set to noon (I think; it says "every morning at 12:00" but doesn't specify AM or PM). make an option to identify when the dreams happend
just as they fall asleep or just before waking or middle of night.

make it an option that users can share any or all dreams with the rest of dreamboard participants to get advice or find people with similar dreams.
