Whenever I try to edit anything about a previously entered dream, including the date, I get an error. It's been doing that pretty consistently for the past few days. I finally realized it wasn't my internet connection. You have to either refresh the page, or go back - either way you have to enter the information (whatever you changed) all over again. This is just one more reason to always enter whatever you remember about a dream into Notepad, or Word, or anything you can hard-save to your computer BEFORE trying to add it to dream journal, because it will frequently screw up and then all that work is gone, and I just don't have the energy to try to remember all those details all over again after I've already entered them.

Tonight I have been having a problem with entering a dream I forgot to enter last month. If I change the date to September 8th and enter the dream, the dream will NOT SHOW UP IN THE DREAM JOURNAL. The strange part is, the website is recording information about the dream. I know this, because my "themes," my "people, places, and things" and all other Dreamboard statistics will change every time I enter the dream. I scoured the Dream Journal over and over again, also using the browser's "Find" function, and the dreams were not showing up. I know they were recorded, but they were ushered away to some irretrievable location.

The only way (currently) to successfully record a dream you dreamed on a day other than today is to enter it with the wrong date; Do not change the date, just let it think it happened today. Then enter all your information as usual. Write a note to yourself - preferably in the dream description - because if you add a personal note, these tend to disappear too - to let yourself know the ACTUAL DATE the dream occured. This is the only way your dream will show up in the dream journal. This is also a way to retrieve dreams you have had to enter 4 or 5 times that didn't show up in the dream journal. If you enter the old dream with *Today's Date,* once it is entered, click on details, then on "Similar Dreams." In my case, it showed me links to the 7 or 8 copies of the dream I had entered over and over again because they weren't being recorded in the journal. You can then delete the copies because the only way to reach them is to link to them through a dream entered today.
If I change the date on a dream, I cannot access it through the pleasant/unpleasant graph, or the tree with the dots either; I already checked. It doesn't show up anywhere; only its data is recorded, but you cannot access the description.

Also, as an aside, the date is almost always recorded wrong anyway. If I click "Today" which is September 9th, it will be recorded as September 8th, then if I go back and click "Today again, it finally shows up as September 9th, but if I enter another dream from the same day and enter "Today" again, it shows up with tomorrow's date, so I have to go manually change it again. Also, the dream I had to enter over and over again from September 8th showed up as September 7th, even though I manually selected "Wednesday - 8th" over and over again. I've just given up on getting the dates right.

I am having the same problem with inaccuracy in the pleasant/unpleasant graph, however most of mine are listed on the neutral line. The first point plotted is on the "neutral" line, even though the first dream I entered was unpleasant (I checked, and yes, the point on the graph links to the correct dream and it is accurately labeled as "unpleasant," so it seems the graph is contradicting the very information it links to). Every point after that falls on the "neutral" line, except for the last one, which is correctly plotted as "unpleasant." Upon closer examination, I also noticed that two of the dreams I labeled as "neutral" are plotted on the neutral line but labeled as "unpleasant" if you hover the cursor over that point on the graph. If I click on the link for the details of that dream, I noticed that the details for any dreams I selected as "Neutral" are distinguished by the less-informative and vauge statement "I dreamed on (date)," as opposed to "On (date), I had an unpleasant/pleasant dream" for dreams selected as unpleasant or pleasant, respectively. I've tried looking at the graph every which way but upside-down in an effort to make sense of it, thinking maybe I'm just reading it wrong. The only idea I had is that maybe if you read it backwards (from right to left) as if that were in fact chronological order, then the graph might make sense if the plotted values represented the *average* mood of all dreams collectively, as of that date, rather than the mood of the individual dream tracked on that date. However, even if this were what they were going for with the graph idea, it would be somewhat odd and counterintuitive. Each point on the graph should show the mood for the one dream it represents (multiple points for multiple dreams on the same day) and dream info should be labeled properly. It seems to me that this shouldn't be very hard to fix.
